BACKGROUND:

Ashley grew up in Hazleton, PA, which is the base of the Pocono Mountains, famous for skiing and honeymooning. Always an artist, she spent many weekends in NYC taking in dance and Broadway while being an apprentice to the Wilkes Barre Ballet Theatre Company, and later, a principal dancer in the Luzerne County Ballet Company. Equally interested in helping others, she volunteered as a candy striper until she was old enough to work as a CNA in a state-run nursing home. At the age of 18, she relocated to Pittsburgh to attend Point Park University, where she graduated cum laude in just two years with her BA specializing in dance and minoring in French. She went on to study nursing at Duquesne University, and later USF after she relocated to Tampa in 1997. She has served as a supervisor, mentor, and instructor at the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy and is the current Director of Education Services at Raha Hypnotherapy Clinic (IF YOU ARE A HYPNOTHERAPIST LOOKING FOR WORK, CLICK HERE).

WHY I DO WHAT I DO:

Hypnosis saved my life. After I was in a serious, life-changing automobile accident that left me unable to work, I was severely depressed and utterly lost. I was so anxious that I was unable to leave my house for weeks at a time. Even the smallest excursion left me frazzled and exhausted. With hypnosis (and Yoga and Breathwork), I was able to work through much of the physical pain, overcome panic attacks, better manage my anxiety, and re-create myself and my life.

That’s why I do what I do.
